3RT2016-2KB41
Like the 2KB42, the 2KB41 belongs to the Koppelschütz coupling contactor family. The difference is that the auxiliary contacts are a set of normally open ones. The coil is also designed for the electrical characteristics of PLC output, and it can be directly driven without the need for a relay.
The 3RT2016-2KB41 is the normally open contact version of the aforementioned 2KB42, belonging to the Siemens SIRIUS "Koppelschütz" coupling contactor sub-series. It features a 24V DC coil with a built-in suppressed diode, and an operating voltage range of approximately 0.7 to 1.25 times the rated value. Designed to directly handle the drive current of PLC digital output points, it eliminates the need for additional relays to trigger contactor engagement, effectively simplifying control box wiring and reducing the load on PLC I/O points. The main circuit specifications are consistent with other members of the family, maintaining the S00 housing and AC-3 9A/4kW/400V. The only difference is that the auxiliary contacts, according to the order code rules, consist of one normally open (NO) set, which can be used as a signal feedback source or indicator light trigger source during operation. Spring-loaded terminals eliminate the need for screw fastening, making it suitable for large-scale wiring operations in automated production lines.
