3RT2016-2VB41
Belonging to the same V-shaped coil family as the 2VB42, the 2VB41 differs in that the auxiliary contacts are changed to one set of normally open (NO). The other wide-range coil characteristics, housing size and terminal type are exactly the same, making it convenient to select the corresponding version according to the control circuit logic.
The 3RT2016-2VB41, like the aforementioned 2VB42, belongs to the Siemens SIRIUS "V" series of coils. Their main circuit and coil electronics are completely shared: both use an S00 housing, AC-3 9A/4kW, and the coils can normally engage within a voltage range of 0.85 to 1.85 times the rated voltage. They also have built-in diodes to suppress induced electromotive force during switching. The main difference lies in the auxiliary contact logic—following Siemens SIRIUS's customary ordering code rules, 41 represents a normally open (NO) auxiliary contact, and 42 represents a normally closed (NC) auxiliary contact. Therefore, the 2VB41 can directly handle "motor running" signal feedback or applications requiring normally open contacts to trigger subsequent circuits, such as indicator light circuits and PLC input signal acquisition. The spring-loaded terminal design eliminates the need for screw fastening, making it suitable for extensive panel wiring and quick maintenance and replacement.
